This is the tube that presses into the block and the internal tube fits into for all '65 - '79 Pontiac V-8s. It is available in both chrome (DST59) and stainless steel. (DST59S) The DST59S will work in every configuration. Note that DST59 will not accept the upper AC Extension tube DST59E & DST59F if required.The DST59S will accept this tube and should be used when using extra long (29 inches) (DST59G) dipstick. Unlike most Pontiac chrome dipstick tubes ours is guaranteed to fit!

Pontiac Internal Dipstick Tubes

This is the tube inside the block that slips into the DST59 or DST59S and is held in by the windage tray or bolts to the # 3 main cap. All '65 - '72 blocks have the #2 & #4 main caps drilled and use the windage tray to hold in the tube. Most '73 and newer blocks have only the #3 drilled but not the #2 & #4. so the tube is bolted to the #3 main cap. Use DST59A for 4 bolt main applications.

Pontiac Luhn Performance Oil Pump

The best stock-type pump on the market, this pump, based on the well proven Melling M54D oil pump has been designed and tested on our in-house oil pump dynamometer to increase volume and maintain pressure. The casting is machined to except a bolt-on o-ringed billet pickup that features a large capacity (.814" Dia) inlet which is an 84% increase in area over the stock pump design. This pickup can also be extended to accommodate most stock and aftermarket oil pan depths. The linear guided pressure relief spring and check ball assembly are calibrated to maintain 60 psi with 10W-30 oil @ 3000 rpm. The stock bottom plate is replaced with a ¼" thick hydraulic bearing grade thrust plate machined with an integral pressurized oiling circuit that works directly with the dimpled low drag gear set. The modification allows the gear set to "float" on a channel of oil reducing oil loss and friction between the mating surfaces. Finally, the oil pump body mounting pad is machined for an O-ring seal to the block. This pump fits stock pans and aftermarket 7 inch deep oil pans with no modifications. Use OPE137 Extension for 8 inch deep pans or call for custom application.

Upgrade your Pontiac Melling oil pump with this ¼" thick hydraulic bearing grade thrust plate with integral LPI pressurized oiling circuit for both performance and stock applications. This thick thrust bottom plate replaces the stock steel oil pump thrust bottom plate and reduces wear while carrying a much higher load.  The proprietary designed oil circuit is built into the heavy duty thrust plate  and allows the gear set to "float" on a channel of oil thus reducing the coefficient of friction between the mating surfaces.  Works with all Melling traditional '55-'81 Pontiac oill pumps .

Keep the oil off of your crank with this nice reproduction of the '69 - '72 factory 4/5 length windage tray. It will fit any Pontiac block and oil pan with the #2 and #4 main caps drilled and tapped which is most blocks from '65- '73. Other blocks can be drilled if desired. This cadmium plated tray is constructed of 17-gauge steel (thicker than the stock) with strategically placed oil drain holes for better oil return. Use DTS59B inner dipstick tube for 2-bolt main and DST59A for 4 bolt main blocks.

A quality replacement Pontiac oil pan at an affordable price. Pan comes with internal baffle and gasketed side exit drain plug. Pan has three-tab design in rear hoop and works well with OPG49 one-piece oil pan gasket. Available in raw unplated or Zinc plated finish. these pans are considered 5 Qt, 6 with filter.
