The BOP Pontiac alternator bracket works on almost any Pontiac engine/head combination. With the C-ring flipped up or down and with up to 3 possible mounting locations on the cylinder head this bracket provides extreme mounting flexibility. While a bolt on in most cases non stock alternator drive pulley location can be accommodated by simply trimming spacers. Bracket design will fit most factory Pontiac V-8 heads as well as most aftermarket head designs. Mounting ring is stainless steel and spacers are anodized for maximum durability. Bolts are grade 8 and corrosion resistant coated. Perfect for electric water pump and BOP belt drive applications.
The BOP belt drive distributor kit utilizes the MSD belt
drive crank trigger distributor and requires no modifications to the belt drive system. Just bolt on and go. Kit also available with built in cam sensor. In addition to superb timing and
ease of adjustments, timing fluctuations due to cam torsional deflection
and oil pump loading are completely eliminated. It also provides
more efficient plug wire routing and a cooler mounting location.

The BOP Pontiac oil pump drive replaces the distributor to drive the oil pump and is used for wet sump front drive distributor applications or when other distributorless ignition systems are utilized. Available with or without a composite gear the unit is held in by the factory hold down and is O-ringed to the block.
